Mrs. Kennedy & Me: Discussion with Clint Hill, U.S. Secret Service Special Agent (Ret.)

For four years, from November 1960 to the election of Lyndon Johnson in 1964, Clint Hill was the Secret Service agent for Jackie Kennedy. He went from being a reluctant guardian to a fiercely loyal watchdog, and in many ways, her closest friend. Fifty years later, Clint Hill tells his story for the
first time.

Join Kevin Manning for a fun and educational multimedia program for all ages. Learn about the size and scale of the universe, the stars and other celestial wonders. Following the presentation, weather permitting, a powerful telescope will be set up in the library parking lot for viewing stars and other beautiful objects in the night sky.

VIDEOCONFERENCE: Lure of the West

An hour-long lecture/discussion reviews the period of westward expansion in America, and the effect it had on settlers’ and American Indians’ lives, during the 1800s. We assess how this influenced the artworks of this time.
