Online Program Registration

With the introduction of online program registration: Each child will be required to present a Lindenhurst Memorial Library card in order to register for a Children's Program. A child is eligible for a Library card at birth. Please visit the Circulation Desk to register your child for a Library card.

 

Twilight TalesFamily Story Time

Children, ages 3 to 6 years, and their adult caregivers. Come listen to stories, sing songs, and have fun!

BookmarkBookmark Contest
September 20, 2010 - October 20, 2010
Entry forms for the 2011 Read Around the World bookmark contest, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Lindenhurst, will be available in the Children’s Room beginning September 20, 2010. Entries will be judged in four age categories from Kindergarten through Senior High and should be returned to the Children’s Room by October 20, 2010.


3 Apples Book Award
3 Apples September 20 - October 20, 2010
PreK—2nd Grade: Ages 3—7
Grades 3—6: Ages 8—12
Grades 7—12: Ages 13 and up

Nominate your favorite book for the 2011 award! Forms for the three age categories are available in the Children’s Room. The top 15 vote getters state-wide will be voted on in April for the 2011 awards.

There’s lots to do! Families and friends can play with board games and puzzles. The Early Literacy Computer (bring your own headset) is loaded with great games for younger children. Have fun with coloring pages & word puzzles too.

Spooky Tunes Halloween Show
