Enjoy a day on your own, via the Long Island Railroad. Non-refundable round-trp ticket cost is $8.75 per person, (children under 5 free) payable in cash only. You will be taking the 9:33am train out of Lindenhurst, so please be at the train station office at (9:00am to meet a library staff member who will give you your return ticket in exchange for your library receipt. You may return anytime you wish. Prices are valid for these dates only.

Overnight Bus Trip: Providence & Newport, Rhode Island
2 Days, 1 Night, Sunday, June 2 & Monday June 3, 2013
Departing Lindenhurst Library approximately 7:30 am Sunday.
Explore Rhode Island’s wonderful cuisine and culture when you join our bus trip to Providence and Newport. First, we visit Providence, the state capital; we do a city tour by bus, and then stop in at the Museum of Art Rhode Island School of Design, with its collection of over 86,000 objects. We stay overnight at the Johnson and Wales Inn; dinner and breakfast included. On day two, we travel to Newport. Highlights include a self-guided audio tour of the Breakers Mansion, and a stopover at Bowen’s Wharf which allows for on-your-own sightseeing, shopping, visits to art galleries, and lunch at one of the many restaurants.
We depart Lindenhurst Library approximately 7:30 am Sunday, and return approximately 9:00 pm Monday.
Fees are payable by cash, check or money order to the Lindenhurst Memorial Library. You may pay a $100.00 per person deposit, with a final payment due by April 20, or pay the total amount of $235.00 per person double occupancy, and $295.00 per person single occupancy.
In-person registration is underway and all are welcome to attend.
