What do I need to do in order to use a computer in the library?

Adults: A library card from Suffolk County that is in good standing will allow you access to our computers. Only patrons with cards that have not expired, and who owe less than $10 in fees have access.

Adult Non-Residents: Adult non-residents may be given guest passes upon presentation of one of the following: Library card from another county, driver’s license, or other ID with a name, address and photo.

Teens: A Teen with a Young Adult library card (Grades 9-12, under age 18) needs an adult to give permission to use the internet. Permission forms for Teen internet use are available at the Circulation Desk.

Children: A Lindenhurst Memorial Library children’s card in good standing, library cards that have not expired, and who owe less than $10 in fees have access. A parent must give written permission for Internet use by the child. Unsupervised non-resident children will not be given guest passes, as an internet permission form is needed for all minors.

Please renew your library card and pay off your fines in order to retain access to our computers. You can pay your fines online by logging into MY LIBRARY ACCOUNT
