Long Island Rail Road: "NYC On Your Own"

Enjoy a day on your own, via the Long Island Railroad. Non-refundable round-trip ticket cost is $8.00 per person, (children under 5 free, ) payable in cash only. You will be taking the 9:33 a.m. train out of Lindenhurst, so please be at the train station ticket office at 9:00 a.m. to meet a Lindenhurst Library staff member. You will receive your individual return ticket in exchange for your library receipt. Return any time you wish.

High Line Park Walking Tour

The High Line is a beautifully landscaped public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. We enjoy a delicious lunch at SPQR Restaurant in Little Italy, following a tour of St. Paul’s Chapel. Our last stop is the sobering and beautiful 9/11 Memorial. This is a day of walking, wear comfortable footwear. Non-refundable fee of $74 includes transportation, tours, lunch and all gratuities.
We depart for home at 7:00 p.m.

We have secured a 2nd bus for this amazing trip. The price is the same, the restaurant is the same, the only difference is in the order of itinerary.
We begin our day at St. Paul’s Chapel, followed by a sobering visit to the 9/11 Memorial. A delicious late lunch is at SPQR Restaurant in Little Italy., and our final stop is the Highline Park: a beautifully landscaped public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side.
This is a day of walking, wear comfortable footwear.
Non-refundable fee of $74 includes transportation, tours, lunch and all gratuities. We depart for home at 7:00 p.m.

Our day begins at the historic Gardner’s Basin for a narrated cruise aboard the Cruisin’ 1. where you’ll learn about the world’s first boardwalk. Enjoy a casual lunch at the waterfront Scales Grill & Deck Restaurant before we proceed to Resorts Casino In Atlantic City. Non-refundable fee of $74 per person fee includes transportation, cruise, lunch and all gratuities.

Join us for a guided tour of Yankee Stadium, a wonderful Italian luncheon at Mario’s Restaurant in the Bronx, and a docent-guided tour of the Monet Gardens Exhibit at the New York Botanical Gardens. There will be some leisure time for a Tram Tour, or a visit to the Strolling Gardens or the Gift Shop.
