SEDS: Students for the Exploration and Development of Space : a group dedicated to expanding the role of human exploration and development of space. We seek to educate the public in such a way as to attain this goal. We have many ways of doing this, including educational outreach, conferences, and chapter projects.

 

Chemistry

A Periodic Table of the Elements : This interactive periodic table, gives an overview of each periodic table element.

 

Physics

The Atoms Family : Hosted by the Miami Museum of Science, this site provides an entertaining introduction to physics for children of all ages. Features include The Mummy's Tomb (energy conservation, kinetic and potential energy), Dracula's Library (the properties of light waves and particles), Frankenstein's Lightning Laboratory (electricity and electrical safety), The Phantom's Portrait Parlor (principles of atoms and matter), and The Wolf Man's Ghostly Graveyard (fuel conservation and energy transfer).
