EARLY LITERACY STATION

The children's room has acquired a new educational computer for young children to use while being supervised by an adult. The computer contains over 30 educational games to be enjoyed by children ages 3 to 10.
Children under age 8 must have an adult with them. Earbuds or a headset are required for use. The library sells earbuds for $4 each, or users may bring their own. Patrons may sign up for 30 minute sessions at the Children's Room Librarian's desk. Use is first-come, first-serve and time on the computer may not be reserved in advanced.

June 21 - August 5, 2010
Preschoolers and Grades K-4
Come to the library beginning June 21 to pick up your folder. Read (or listen) to books at home and list each title in your folder. Come to the library once per week to get a prize and a sticker. Everyone who makes four visits will receive a ticket to the Splashtastic Show presented by PetraPuppets, a completion certificate, and be entered in a super prize drawing.
