Budget Vote and Trustee Election

Wednesday, April 14th, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm

PROPOSED BUDGET

This year’s library Budget Vote and Trustee Election will be held on Wednesday, April 14th, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the library. In order to vote you must be a registered voter residing within the Lindenhurst Union Free School District. In order to register you must be a United States citizen; be 18 years old by December 31 of the year in which you register (note: you must be 18 years old by the date of the library vote); live at your present address for at least 30 days before the election; not be in jail or on parole for a felony conviction; and not claim the right to vote elsewhere. Registration forms are available at the library. In addition, the library will be holding a special voter registration day on Saturday, April 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Absentee ballots are also available at the library. Additional budget information will be available March 1st at the library and on the library web site at www.lmlonline.org.
A special budget information meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 7th, at 7:00 p.m. in the library’s community room. The meeting is open to the public.

 



Wireless AccessWireless access to the Internet (WiFi) is now available at our library. The wireless signal is available in the adult area, the children’s room and the large meeting room in the lower level.
